My name is Dr. Andrew Stopford, a Mass Spectrometrist with 10 years of research experience gained in academic and industrial laboratories in Europe and North America.

I have contributed to fundamental, instrument development, petroleomics, metabolomics and structural biology research programs and have studied many different compound classes, ranging from volatile organic compounds to very large multimeric protein complexes. I am skilled in the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of a variety of mass spectrometry platforms and their associated technologies and would be interested in applying this knowledge to any exciting, unusual or novel mass spectrometry projects which address challenging scientific problems.
